Our specialty is 2G emissions repair — helping drivers diagnose and fix emissions-related issues, pass retesting, and get their registration sorted. We also do all service work and a lot of general repair.
Our History
Howard’s Chevron has been at 2799 E. 4th Street since 1971 — founded by Howard Strasser and named after him. For over five decades the station has served the same East Reno neighborhood, building relationships with customers who return year after year. Howard’s son Carl grew up in the business, starting as a teenager and spending his career here getting to know customers by name. That family approach — straight talk, honest work, people treated like neighbors — has defined the station from the beginning and continues today.
